Should I Update My Website?

Because styles and trends are always shifting, it's a good idea to update your site's design every 2-3 years.  An outdated site can negatively impact your viewers and drive people away from your business instead of towards it. 

If you're unsure about whether or not it's time to update your site, read through our site examination questions.  If you answer yes to 1 or more of these questions, it might be time to think about updating your site. 

1 - Did someone outside of the web design industry create your website?

2 - Does your website have a “click to enter” or a splash page?

3 - Has it been more than 3 years since you’ve updated your website?

4 - Do the links on your website change to purple after you’ve clicked on them?

5 - Does music start playing as soon as your website loads?

6 - Does your website have a lot of Flash animations?

7 - Does your website take more than 5 seconds to load?

8 - Does your website have links that don’t work? (Broken links)

9 - Do you use the fonts Papyrus or Comic Sans on your site?

10 - Does your site have “News” items that are months old?

11 - Do you have scrolling text on your website?
